I think with Touya staying at school I think it is more a respect / need to be educated thing, because it seems to be a big deal to do high school, it's a 99% rate of student go on to Highschool even though it's not compulsory. So while I think he does enjoy some elements of school I think his decision to stay is more that it was unthinkable to do otherwise....
