Yes, please!

Star Trek was my first fandom (a short K/S story was my first attempt at fanfic). This led to my interest in Alexander (the Great) and Horatio Hornblower and then... oh my! thousands of books later. I still don't have enough bookshelves ;-)

Hikaru no Go was love at first sight! And of course I had to know more about Sai - about the Heian time and culture and then about Shusaku's Edo Japan (and all points in between) and oh my! even more books (my post-it-noted copy of John Power's Invincible, the Games of Shusaku sits in a place of honor at my desk).
