I was wondering if anyone has any fic recs--particularly NEW/(RELATIVELY) RECENT fics?

I read prolifically in the fandom circa roughly 2010-2013, exploring everything from AO3 and FF.Net to LJ and user-owned fic archives, so I'm already familiar with most of the classics. But since then, I haven't read as much. So I was wondering if anybody had fic they'd rec that has been written 2014-2018?

I greatly prefer Shindou/Touya, but I will happily read nearly any ship if it's good (or gen!) I like longfic over oneshots, but again--if it's good, I'll read it! WIPs are not entirely out of the question, though of course complete stories are preferred. NSFW is OK!

I generally don't like AU much-- I love canon divergence and "what if?" stuff, but settings/scenarios that are way different from the source material aren't really my speed. (However, if you have something truly excellent, like the most amazingly well-researched Heian period fic or a supremely in-character werewolf story, feel free to send it my way and I might check it out anyway.)

Feel free to rec your own fic! I love self-promotion!

Thanks in advance, everybody!

commentstag:dreamwidth.org,2009-04-15:63703:115350flonnebonneFic: It's the End of the World as We Know It (And It's All Yang Hai's Fault)2016-04-03T00:59:16Z2016-04-03T00:59:16Zpublic0Posted by: flonnebonne

Title: It's the End of the World as We Know It (And It's All Yang Hai's Fault)

Genre: Humour, Parody

Wordcount: 2423

Summary: Waya has this weird dream about a computer beating the fourth best go pro in the world!

Hikago Day Prompt Meme

HOW IT WORKS:
Post prompts in the comments. It can be anything: scenarios, pretty pictures, kinks, songs, random words, screen shots, or whatever you think might be inspiring.

THEN post the fanworks inspired by the prompt.

There are no limits to how many prompts you can post (the more the merrier, in fact) or how you use them. Post fic, fanart, icons, podfic, fanmix, vids, gifs, crafts, games, poems, ANY MEDIUM!

RULES:
-Please play nice! No kink shaming. No pairing bashing.
-Warn for potential triggers in both prompts and fills.
-Try to keep one prompt per comment. You can comment as many times as you like, but for the sake of organization, it's easier to break things up.
-List your pairing (if any) in the subject line to make it easier to find.
-Fills can be any medium, any length, any anything, but if you post off-comm, provide a link to the work in the thread of the original prompt.

That's it! Fic, pic, AMV, FST, podfic, etc.

I'm also potentially looking for a co-mod to help ease the stress of posting what will likely be every day in December. Thanks!

comments
