Hikago Day Prompt Meme

Post prompts in the comments. It can be anything: scenarios, pretty pictures, kinks, songs, random words, screen shots, or whatever you think might be inspiring.

THEN post the fanworks inspired by the prompt.

There are no limits to how many prompts you can post (the more the merrier, in fact) or how you use them. Post fic, fanart, icons, podfic, fanmix, vids, gifs, crafts, games, poems, ANY MEDIUM!

-Please play nice! No kink shaming. No pairing bashing.
-Warn for potential triggers in both prompts and fills.
-Try to keep one prompt per comment. You can comment as many times as you like, but for the sake of organization, it's easier to break things up.
-List your pairing (if any) in the subject line to make it easier to find.
-Fills can be any medium, any length, any anything, but if you post off-comm, provide a link to the work in the thread of the original prompt.

That's it! Let's 5!!

[personal profile] raikushi pointed out to me that I had forgotten to count one of her fics, for the prompt: anyone doing anything that isn't related to go (or any board-game)

So in fact, the tie I announced was not really a tie, and Team Korea won the drabble fest. However, since it was my mistake, and since Team China submitted the most drabbles for the tiebreaker, I am going to declare both as winners.

Honorable mention goes to [personal profile] raikushi for answering the most prompts (5).

Team China: [personal profile] esmenet, [personal profile] issenllo, [personal profile] lacygrey, [livejournal.com profile] aiwritingfic
Team Korea: [personal profile] raikushi, [personal profile] blue_cage, [personal profile] ariadne_chan
Team Japan: [personal profile] qem_chibati, [personal profile] jetsam, [personal profile] takemyrevolution, [livejournal.com profile] hostilecrayon

Members of the two winning teams will get 20 Dreamwidth points each!

Here are the three tiebreaker fics:

[livejournal.com profile] aiwritingfic:
Shirakawa, professionalism
Zhao Shi, "the naturalist"

[personal profile] raikushi:
Ochi, "the little king"

Thank you to everyone who played! (And thanks for your patience with my slow updates and counting errors!)

Be on the lookout for a new meta thread this Friday!

Apologies for the delayed response! My offline life took over for a while there...

Our Hokuto Cup results are currently tied with Team Japan, Korea and China each at five points!

For our "tiebreaker" round, the team that answers the most unfilled prompts by Sunday, June 13, 9 PM PST will win the drabble fest! Reply to this post with any fanwork in response to one of the following prompts, and remember to indicate which team you're supporting.

It's Friday! As promised, that means it's time for our biweekly team competition.

How It Works

- Leave prompts in the comments. You can request anonymously if you prefer.

- Reply to prompts with any fanwork of your choice. (Fic, art, icons, FSTs, vids, etc.--all are eligible.) You can also answer anonymously if you prefer.

- When you fill a prompt, please specify your chosen team somewhere in the comment. In this round, you can choose to play for Team Japan, Team China or Team Korea.

- Each time you fill a prompt, you win a point for your team.

- (optional, but highly encouraged) Go back to your journals and recruit friends for your teams! Cheer your team on, here and elsewhere! Leave feedback!

- The team that gets the most points wins the competition! Each member of the winning team will receive 20 Dreamwidth Points as a prize.

- Fics may be of any length. Although we anticipate most people will write drabbles or short fics, if you want to write an epic AU in the comments, feel free.

- Prompts can have multiple fills. Members of the same team can fill the same prompt, and any individual can fill a prompt more than once.

- This round will end on Friday, May 28, 6 PM PST. ETA: Deadline extended to Friday, June 4, 6 PM PST.

Fight-o, everyone!

Thank you to everyone who participated!

Although the team competition is over, please feel free to continue answering prompts if you wish! Unfilled prompts )

Team Morishita members, you should soon receive 20 Dreamwidth Points as your prize! Anonymous members of Team Morishita, while I can't award you your 20 Dreamwidth points while you remain anonymous, feel free to comment with your email address, and I will send you an invite code.

If May 5th and [livejournal.com profile] blind_go fics have put you in the Hikago mood, why not have a drabble fest?

Leave a prompt (anonymous commenting is enabled if you want to request anonymously) in the comments, and reply to other prompts with fics! (Or art, vids, icons...any form of fanwork is eligible.)

To make it a little more exciting, I thought we could add in a little friendly team competition. Prompt-fillers, please indicate in a comment whether you are on Team Touya or Team Morishita, and earn a point for each prompt you fill.

The same prompt can be filled more than once. If you're filling prompts anonymously, just make sure to indicate the team somewhere in your comment.

I'll tally up the results next week (May 14 at 6 PM PST), along with links to all the filled prompts. Members on the winning team will get 20 Dreamwidth Points each!

I meant to start a commentfic fest for our open beta celebration last Friday but completely forgot. But four days late is better than never, right?

How to play:
1. Leave a comment to this post with a drabble request, preferably specifying character(s) and/or pairing(s), with a brief word or phrase or situation. Please try to separate your prompts into individual comments.
2. Reply to comments with drabbles for other people's prompts.
