Recent fic recs, please?
OK, since this community is apparently NOT dead (yay!) I was wondering if anyone has any fic recs--particularly NEW/(RELATIVELY) RECENT fics?
I read prolifically in the fandom circa roughly 2010-2013, exploring everything from AO3 and FF.Net to LJ and user-owned fic archives, so I'm already familiar with most of the classics. But since then, I haven't read as much. So I was wondering if anybody had fic they'd rec that has been written 2014-2018?
I greatly prefer Shindou/Touya, but I will happily read nearly any ship if it's good (or gen!) I like longfic over oneshots, but again--if it's good, I'll read it! WIPs are not entirely out of the question, though of course complete stories are preferred. NSFW is OK!
I generally don't like AU much-- I love canon divergence and "what if?" stuff, but settings/scenarios that are way different from the source material aren't really my speed. (However, if you have something truly excellent, like the most amazingly well-researched Heian period fic or a supremely in-character werewolf story, feel free to send it my way and I might check it out anyway.)
