This post is to inform you that Hikaru no Go
chat<http://chat.gogohikago.com/chat.php> has
recently had some security updates implemented, additionally the forums
(the primary purpose of which is to allow users to sign up for an account
in order to access the chat logs) has also recently had some security
updates implemented.

Unfortunately due to an infestation of ill-bred spambots it was necessary
to do a large scale purge. Some legitimate user accounts may have been
accidentally removed as part of this clean policy for which qem_chibati **apologizes. The compromise of the forums anti-spam
methods may of been responsible for recent slow downs in the chat and
consequently was necessary.

Additionally, some of the methods of preventing spam infestation such as IP
address blacklisting may occasionally cause issues for legitimate users to
sign up for an account. Although the subscription for the
blacklist spamhaus [Spamhaus tracks the Internet's worst Spammers, known
Spam Gangs and Spam Support Services, and works with ISPs and Law
Enforcement Agencies to *...]*, is very well regarded in the industry and
have a low false positive rate, occasionally users may become accidentally
tarnished by association.

The Question Answer method accepts multiple answers and appears to have
stopped the new bots from signing up for accounts, [although there are some
inert accounts that have been left] however if you notice that this
security method appears to have been breached and there are new bots
