OKAY SO HERE ARE MY COMMENTS FOR GAME 1, and I am indeed reading the viz version atm. >:|
GAME 1 -these b&w-ized versions of the originally color pages actually look halfway decent. I GUESS I'VE HAD MY EXPECTATIONS PERMANENTLY LOWERED DUE TO HOW CRAPPY THE SCANS OF THE SLAM DUNK MANGA LOOK haha. I wonder if the original volumes look that bad or if they just messed it up in the scans. either way, DECENT JOB ON THAT PART AT LEAST! -lolling at the art style in the beginning here. SHINDOU'S HAIR IS ESPECIALLY HILARIOUS 2 ME RN -viz's translations of the sfx crack me up. "FSHH" - "SHHAAOOU" - "FWUMP..." -they don't show hikaru riding in the ambulance in the manga booooo -ahhhhh the non-con spectrally-induced vomiting, yessssss -HAHAHAHAHA I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS PROJECTILE VOMITING THE SECOND TIME WOW THAT IS EXCELLENT. the fish cake is the best part. amazing. -"HIKARU BARFED ON ME" HAHAHAHAHA LOLLING 4 DAYS -i love this close-up of hikaru's grandpa when he' hears he's learning go. his face looks so creepy and it's quality. -hahaha hikaru, UR 2 SLOW -i forgot about some of these things being changed around like how hikaru went to the go class and put the goke on the dude's head without akari. I DID VAGUELY REMEMBER THE GAME WITH HIS GRANDFATHER THO ha
