So now that we’ve gone back to our glorious beginnings – for those who have read later on, some starting questions (no need to rot13 in this post, spoil away!)
- Did this start lead to what you were expecting later on?
- How do you feel the art compares to later on.

In this post, I request that people keep this post spoiler free or use a ROT13 generator (there’s one available right here. I will be posting up a post that's available for going crazy with spoilers and comparing volume 1 with post volume 1 discussion shortly!)
Hikaru no Go Reread!

How it works!
This is hosted by round-robin, where people sign up for a period of time for a particular volume.
Volumes would be defined by this wikipedia list, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hikaru_no_Go_chapters , for the number of chapters that they cover, as people may be using different translations/publications or have version which combines three volumes into one, or being using the new pretty shiny version that reduces it to 20 volumes.
People have flexibility with how they host the reread for their period of time - the minimum requirement is a summary of what occurs in that volume, and some points/questions for people to respond to in the comments. They can have one post, or multiple posts - during their two week period. (Just we just ask that at least one post / if only one post occurs during the first part of the two week period!)
Some examples of what could occur - we could have one person summarising the arc in the volume, and choosing to focus on questions for the audience, such as character development in that arc. Whereas another person might want to post a summary per chapter, spreadout across their two week period, with screenshots and commentary on that chapters events.
Sign ups are currently restricted - you can't do more than two weeks in a row, and you can't have more than six active claims at a time. If you want to split a claim with some one and share the posting for that week - that's fine too.

Community Reread

Hey all! I'd wanted to get things started with the reread on the 5th but unfortunately was kind of overtaken by life events. So, to get things moving now (finally) for those who'd like to participate in the reread:
1. How many chapters would be feasible to cover in a week? Bearing in mind that the whole series is 191 chapters in 23 volumes (usually 9 chapters/volume) I was thinking about covering 2 volumes a week, but I'd like your thoughts.
2. When would be the best time for me to put up the discussion/recap posts? I can accommodate pretty much any time, but I'm thinking the weekend is going to be better for most people? Let me know.
