eta: it's still not working for me ochi! sniff. i am so sad about this i think i'll go in teh bathroom and tap on the wall.
eta2: if it helps for bug-crushing purposes: i couldn't get it to load at all in firefox. did finally load in chrome but was v slow, then it was super slow allowing any of my sent text to go through, didn't seem very usable. but it was at least SORT OF working.

4. i have an enduring interest in AUs where touya actually becomes directly aware of sai while he's still around. so tho they've played each other obvsly, something where they actually communicate directly too, tho it'd have 2 be thru shindou as a conduit

I couldn't narrow it down to 5 so I'm doing 5 cubed instead. :3 (shockingly for my tastes, none of these are NSFW haha, no nudity or sex or gore, at the most there is kissing)

1. 3/24/15: chibi Hikaru and Akira in sailor uniforms!

2. 4/4/15: akira tilting hikaru over to kiss him (from this photoset here which is 44 pics long so i just direct linked the one i meant)

3. 2/9/2015: this photoset here has many gr8 ones but my fave one is hikaru and akira fighting over putting hairbands in each other's hair

4. 1/2/2015: THIS ONE IS POSSIBLY MY FAVE OF THIS ENTIRE COMMENT IT MAKES ME LOL SO HARD. i barely known any japanese but was able to figure it out but in case u can't figure it out, it's a redo of a panel you'll recognize except touya is also counting every single second as it goes by hahaha

5. 1/6/2015: there are others in this photoset but the one i mean is the very first one! i love the linework (is it charcoal?? i'm not sure) and it's just so excellently intense-looking haha

1. 9/24/2014: hikaru and akira walking reflections in water with falling leaves

2. 8/1/2014: crying shindou (charcoal again? idk. but all of this person's sketches like this are amazing)

3 & 4. 7/6/2014: two that are both part of the same set! here's the set and the first one is hikaru placing stones on a go board alone in what seems to be his grandpa's attic (so probably sai's board i think is what is implied) and the second one is akira kissing hikaru's neck while hikaru is trying to play a psp game with headphones on

5. 6/12/2014: i like hikaru in this giant poofy paigeboy type cap

1. ????: uh well i couldn't refind the original page for this one again by i know it's by this artist, and it's possibly it's actually older than 2014 haha but I SAVED IT IN 2014 so we'll still count it, my file name for it is "intense go stuff" haha

2. 5/5/2014 (last year's hikago day!): this person has several other pics like this iirc, really detailed near-photorealistic backgrounds. this one with hikaru and sai was my favorite

3. also 5/5/2014: hikaru/akira kiss also by that artist who has many of these good charcoal-y sketches (same as above crying shindou)

4. DAMMIT I HECKED UP, haha i went thru my saved pics folder picking out things by when i saved them figuring they'd probably be made that year, but this one is actually made in 20121. OH WELL. POSTING IT ANYWAY. i really love this art style, it's so damn cute and colorful. hikaru, akira, sai

5. shhhhh don't tell anyone that i cheated on 2 or 3 of these. XD WHATEVER. cute one of hikaru and akari, for a change

also while I did have a fair amt more arts I saved in 2014 I didn't have quite THAT many haha. also I am sick of typing. XD but if anyone wanted me to I could upload a zip of all my 2014 saves or something, I always put the artist info in the filename if I have it so u could use that and/or saucenao to hunt them down online if u want

this is great! thank you so much for the list. I remember trying to keep up with the art on pixiv but all that Japanese is breaking my brain a bit (ughh, what happened to the 2 semesters of Japanese that I took in college. all gone!)

THERE IS EVEN MORE WHERE THIS CAME FROM, i was trying 2 narrow down all my 2014 saves to my top 5 but i only managed to narrow it to top 15 (and then some of them ended up being cheaters haha whoops)

altho i've self-studied japanese a tiny bit on my own i can't read much of it generally either, but i don't find pixiv too hard... i just keep the tags for my fandoms bookmarked and that way every now and then i can go and look thru whatever was posted for it recently. :)
