Five go players Kuwabara terrorised in their youth.

1) While playing Honda-kun in the Shodan series, Kuwabara just smiles a lot. He almost means for it to be reassuring.


2) Touya Kyouyo-kun. He was just such a serious kid and he had this pinched look when his own mind failed him by falling for one of Kuwabara's mind games.

Kyouyo is grateful though, since now his focus is refined and uncompromising. He just wishes Ogata would learn the same lessons.


3) Before playing Saeki, Kuwabara sets his ring tone to Sad Trombone and pays his grandnephew to text him at random.


4) Kuwabara always liked to relate all of his current health problems to Gokiso-kun. Every pain, disorder, sensory failing. He did it in a calm, methodical voice, as if idly passing the time. It was important for young people to know what was right around the corner, especially if he felt they should find a job with better dental.


5) Isumi-kun really is an excellent caddie.
