Not Ready For Prime Time (Fandoms), or otherwise known as Not Prime Time, is a gen, het, femslash, and slash multifandom secret fiction exchange for medium sized fandoms, including any RPF fandoms with under 20,000 fics.

It's currently taking sign ups from now until April 30th. There's a few people who have signed up for Hikaru no Go, so while there are no guarantees on being matched with that fandom, I thought it might be of interest to members of this comm. *blink* Okay, so I'm really confused. I thought that Hikago wasn't eligible for NPT because it qualifies for Yuletide? Did I misunderstand or get my wires crossed or something? O_o

Hikago doesn't qualify for Yuletide! It did several years ago but has been disqualified for quite some time now.

Ohhhhhh. I've never actually done Yuletide, so I never kept track of that sort of thing. Good to know, I guess. Thanks for indulging my curiosity. ^_~

NPT have said in previous FAQ's that they weren't going to modify their rules to match Yuletide specifically and they were generally going to err on the side of being inclusive rather than exclusive, also if it makes it past nominations stage and into sign ups - even if they have conflicting evidence that suggest that it doesn't qualify after all, they'll only take it into account for the next round, not disrupt the sign up / writing stage.


So shhh. I guess. :3


ETA: to clarify - there are actually multiple series that qualify for both due to the not perfectly matching sets of rules. NPT said it was in their best long term interests to not change their own rules every time Yuletide did.
