Date: 2010-05-15 03:20 am (UTC)I know the bare essentials of livejournal and have never been to dreamwidth before two days ago, but I recognize it as a similar kinda place, so I figured out how to post comments lol.

Date: 2010-05-15 10:04 pm (UTC)I spent two days reading all the rated M fics (what? shh, I'm not that hentai.. >.> ) and I plan to review all the ones that really impacted me but yours was the only one that made me go "omg i have to comment right now!" ^^
It's fun becoming part of a new fandom and meeting new people! *waves*

Date: 2010-05-15 07:23 am (UTC)Personal sidenote: I saw the girls' school story bunny and tried to write it, but this is _not_ drabble-length. Backburnered it, maybe a fic will eventually emerge. Do you prefer any particular Enid Blyton school? I know Mallory Towers better than St Claire's, but I could probably research both. OR, if you don't mind, I could just make up my own school based on what's currently out there. Girls' college okay?

Date: 2010-05-15 01:08 pm (UTC)And thanks for organizing the drabblefest.
I've never done anything of the like before, and it led to me write something I don't think would have occurred to me otherwise!
I have a couple of questions about potential future rounds:
Does a 'drabble' for this challenge have a word limit?
Can a prompt have more than one reply from different members of the same team?
And, more generally, what are Dreamwidth points and invite code? Is there a FAQ I should have read?

Date: 2010-05-15 01:44 pm (UTC)Dreamwidth points are used to buy services on dreamwidth. An explanation is here: http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=204

Date: 2010-05-15 03:34 pm (UTC)I see someone's answered your last two questions, but just to answer the first two:
Not operating on a strict definition of "drabble" here. The fics can be any word length.
A prompt can indeed have multiple replies from different members of the same team (or for that matter the same person). The rules are pretty lax. ^^;
